from Korea was the winner of the inaugural ASM
tournament the 2003_ASM_@_Singapore
staged at the Jurong Country Club in October 2003, unfortunately
he was unsuccessful in his defense of his title at the 2004
ASM @ Taiwan and again at the inaugural 2005_ASM_@_Malaysia_-_Palm_Resort_-_JB
which was won by European Seniors Tour & Champions Tour (US)
veteran Stewart_Ginn
Stewart kindly flew back
all the way from the USA to contest the inaugural 2006_ASM_@_Phuket_-_Thailand
which was a claen sweep for the Taiwan PGA who captured the
top 3 places, and shot a total of 215 to come in joint 4th
with Malaysia's M_Ramayah
In 2006 Stewart defended
and retained his ASM @ Malaysia Title for
the second year at the recent 2006 ASM @ Malaysia
Since the AST foundation in 2003
membership has expanded to include some 300 Senior Professinal
golfers from all over the world, and ASM tournaments showcase
a mix of some of the best senior professional golfers from
Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Europe, Canada and the
USA.
The AST's has come a long way from
its humble beginnings in 2003 when it staged the inaugural
Asian Senior Masters - ASM tournament in Singapore
and Taiwan
The 2006 AST schedule saw the staging
of the tour's inaugural tournament in Thailand, with the ASM_@_Phuket
in April followed by the annual ASM_@_Taiwan
ASM_@_Singapore
and ending the season with the ASM_@_Malaysia_-_KL
Once again the 2007 ASM @ Singapore
will host past Singapore and Malaysia Open
Champions including golfing legends from the European
Seniors Tour Terry_Gale,
Brian_Jones
and KL Malaysia based US Champions Tour regular
Stewart_Ginn along with other worthy
contenders from around the world.
Asian players include Taiwnan's Legendry
Hsieh_Min_Nan, and Choi Yoon Soo, Chen Tse-ming, Hsu
Chi-san, & Kuo Chi-Hsiung (Taiwan) MALAYSIA’s
– M Ramayah, V. Nellan and Abdul Latiff Mahmood, E.
Nival (Philippines), Sukiree Oncham (Thailand), and
Choi_Sang-ho (Korea) whos victory at the 2005 Maekyung Open
made him the oldest winner on the Asian Tour.
The professional 2007 ASM @ Singapore
professional event will be preceded by up to 6 ASM
Pro-Am's played as 4 ball flight, in a 3 Amateur & 1 Pro
format T-Off at 7.30am and again at 1pm on Tues,
Wed & Thurs where avid golfers will have the opportunity
to share their experience with golfing friends, and clients.

Each of the 6
ASM Pro-Ams will feature a team competition,
the team score for each hole will be the Pros plus the 2 best
gross scores for each hole from the 3 amateurs in the team
– flight. There will also be an individual competition
where the 9 lowest gross scoring individual
participants from each ASM Pro-Am will qualify
to compete in the Amateur Semi-Finals.
To cater to overseas based amateur golfers, many who will
be accompanying participating senior professional, we have

Singapore - Pro-Am and Social Golf Packages
Pro-Am and Social Golf packages vary
in duration, & can include up to 6 nights accommodation,
inclusive of breakfast, lunch & tea and designed to cater
to amateur golfers wishing to take part in 2 or 3
ASM Pro-Ams and play a few rounds of social
golf on some of the beautiful courses in Singapore.

Qualifier to be staged on Mon 1pm the event will

128 participants. The top 9 "best gross" scoring
individuals and the top two 2 man teams will secure places
in the ASM Pro-Am on Thursday.

ASM Pro-Ams and the ASM
Pro-Am Qualifier events are open to both male and
female participants who must be at least 12 years of age and
posses valid golf handicaps, and all participants are invited
to attend the ASM Welcome Cocktail Reception
to be held on Tuesday commencing at 7.30pm
at the Official Hote during which prize giving for the ASM
Invitational Pro-Am Qualifier and the ASM
Open Pro-Am Qualifier events will be held.
ASM Amateur Semi-Finals
will be contested on Friday and Saturday
the first two days of the ASM professional tournament, and
as was the case at previous ASM events 35 qualifying amateur
golfers each day will compete alongside Senior PGA golfers
in a 4 ball 3 Pro & 1 amateur on the first two days of
the ASM Pro tournament.
On Sunday, the ASM will
feature the top 3 best gross scoring amateur
golfers from the Friday and Saturday Amateur Semi-Finals
and 6 amateur finalists will compete in the Amateur Finals
T-ing Off on Sunday at 7am prior to the final day of
ASM Pro Tournament.
All ties in either or both the ASM
Pro Tournament & the ASM Amateur Finals
will be decided by a sudden death play offs
The ASM Pro-Am and ASM Player packages includes
